Hacker groups supported by Beijing often use innocuous-sounding names like FishMonger, MirrorFace, Volt Typhoon, and Salt Typhoon. However, behind these names are aggressive cyber-espionage operations—some directly linked to the Chinese military—targeting critical U.S. infrastructure, such as utilities and telecom networks.
