Companies from all over the world have been relocating out of China for quite some time.
Micron Technology is the most recent multinational brand to follow suit. 
It is a semiconductor manufacturing behemoth (Number of employees 40,000) situated in the United States that produces a wide range of memory chips such as RAM and SSDs.
The company said on Wednesday that its DRAM design operations in Shanghai will be shut down by the end of the year. 
The corporation employs approximately 150 Chinese engineers in the center, all of whom will be requested to migrate to the United States or India.
According to some employees and industry analysts, the actual motive for this decision is to prevent Chinese competitors from luring talented and skilled people, leaking technology, and infringing on intellectual property rights.
