Former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo underlined his country’s concern for Taiwan’s security during a television interview aired on 27 February 2022.
“The U.S. should end strategic ambiguity,” Abe said of the US stance toward Taiwan’s defense, adding that it is vital to explicitly declare its intention to defend Taiwan.
