You Consider Putin a menace to the world? Xi Jinping is much more dangerous!

Who could be scarier than the land-grabbing, nuclear-wielding Vladimir Putin? 

A megalomaniacal Chinese communist Xi!

The limitations of collaborative leadership, as used by Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin before Xf, are no longer in place. The dedication to market reforms and openness that Deng Xiaoping promoted is also gone. Deng’s guiding premise of China’s gradual, peaceful progress, too, has been abandoned.

Instead, Xi is pushing China backward into the closed, oppressive Maoist paradigm of centralized state control over the economy, business, industry, land, and people. Government now consists of a single person.

The “Xi Jinping Thought” that has been officially sanctioned is, in reality, a recipe for hyper-nationalism, rapid militarization, regional expansionism, discouraging individualism, and the subordination of the private sector, judiciary, civil society, academia, and media to the party – and ultimately to Xi himself.
